Florida has always been home to a great number of heavy metal acts. From acts like Deicide, Morbid Angel and even Cannibal Corpse, this state has been just as important of a metal breeding-grounds as other metal-rich places like California and New Orleans. Now there is a new breed of metal coming from upstate Florida and they are making their presence known with an unyielding vengeance. Bands like Bury Your Dead are coming onto the scene and making sure that their fans realize that they can be just as loud as all of their classic counterparts. The whole story can be found at http://musicekstrim.wordpress.com/2011/08/28/deicide/

In the early 1990s, the band “Death” emerged onto the metal scene. With their extreme way of playing and their unique style, they made sure that people heard them. Having a style which is very akin to the classic Death Metal sound, but with modern touches to keep fans on their toes, they ended up being one of the first bands of their kind to achieve any sort of mainstream following.

Taking note of Death’s success, younger groups began to build on that style in order to reach out to masses of people who might never have been privy to extreme metal before. Nowadays, bands like Hate Eternal and Monstrosity are enjoying regional success by following in the footsteps of their predecessors.

Christmas means holiday music will be playing everywhere – at the mall, in office buildings and on radio stations. The classics from years ago are always welcomed and bring back memories of good times with family and friends. Artists will interpret their own version of a song by making it sound different and unique. Country singers will add holiday favorites in a TV special and introduce new songs for the season. There are songs that have been around for many years and continue to grow in popularity as the years go by. Songs such as “White Christmas”, “We Wish You A Merry Christmas”, and “O Holy Night” keep the spirit of the season alive and accompany you as you are shopping and just enjoy being with those you love. Purchase a Christmas album (or two) and have music playing in the car, at home while baking and even when relaxing. Turn on a favorite music or radio station and listen while you rock the baby to sleep or when you are having dinner. Christmas music is the perfect way to celebrate the season, have good times and enjoy the Holiday with family and friends. Happy Holidays To One And All!
